Dear Public School System,

It has come to my attention that you think that a piece of paper and pluck and chuck homework techniques are the proper way for someone to learn something.

It has also come to my attention that you think for one to be successful and happy in your system of brainwashing socialist bovine excrement we are required to sit among the pot smoking redneck zombies that you've indoctrinated with your treacherous learning habits.


This is NOT TRUE.

Education is a tool. Homework is assigned because either you need me to copy text out of a book and accomplish nothing in order for me to earn a check mark in your grade book which will become a crystal ball or tarot card to predict if Iwill lead a successful life.

The second reason is that you actually want me to learn something.
Let's hope its the second one.

It's not about the NUMBER. IT's about the NERVE.

This means that I will do my homework. I will do it my way. I will actually apply it to MYSELF .

Anyone can follow a rubric and outline information.

We live in an artificial world where we're judged by a piece of paper and how well we memorize things.

Unfortunately if it was ALL about creativity then there would be nothing to judge by.

Sadly I have submitted to the new era of online education SO I CAN FIT MORE ART CLASSES IN.

The bottom line..MY HOMEWORK IS ACCURATE. THE INFORMATION IS THERE . I AM ACTUALLY LEARNING AND UNDERSTANDING.

SO WHY WOULD I BE PUNISHED FOR THAT?

That's what I thought.


Onto part deux.
I am not nice.
I am cranky.
I am ridiculous.
I have bad logic.

I don't even know what I like about myself.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?

I'm not at school to make friends.
I transfered to take film and graphic design and sculpture.
I'm there to create.....
not to converse

and speaking of creating
I actually want my homework to be useful in the real world.
Like I could show it to someone and be proud of it and they'd just think I'm a smart artsy dork and it isn't actually homework.
